You will report directly to the Head of Operations, Finance for this position. You will lead and manage a team to ensure proper accounting, efficiency and effectiveness of the finance activities. You will contribute to the development, implementation, efficient and effective workings of the Co-operative’s financial and reporting systems.  



·         Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures and controls to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and auditing procedures.

·         Lead and manage a team to ensure proper accounting, efficiency and effectiveness of the finance activities/ processes for business unit.

·         Assist in the supervision of the payables, receivables and cash management processes and controls to ensure compliance and adherence with policies, procedures and controls.

·         To analyse and interpret data/variances to identify and resolve any discrepancies.

·         Address financial issues and inquiries from internal and external customers.

·         Recommend process improvements for efficiency and cost effectiveness.

·         Assist in the preparation of management reports.

·         Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, forecasts and projection.

·         Provide support and review with all aspect of Master file maintenance, grants/claims submissions etc.

·         Manage and ensure timely month end stock closing and rectify discrepancies.

·         Liaise with internal and external auditors.

·         Perform other related duties and assist special projects as required.




·         A degree in Finance, Accountancy or ACCA

·         At least 3 years of relevant working experience

·         Experience in accounting, annual budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting with high familiarity of accounting standards in Singapore.

·         Exhibit leadership, organizational, interpersonal, written, verbal and analytical skills, and be able to respond well under pressure.

·         Experience with SAP system and proficient in MS Office software in particular MS Excel.

·         Knowledge of retail food beverage business is an added advantage.

·         Able to work independently to deliver timely and accurate results.

·         An absolute high sense of personal integrity, honesty and trust.

·         With a hands-on approach and a strong ability in working under stress and being flexible
