 Responsibilities

 
  • Ongoing operations of purchasing efforts to ensure quality product is obtained at the best price while maintaining cost-effectiveness and optimum inventory levels.

  • Maintain a pool of reliable suppliers and ongoing efforts to source, negotiate and identify potential reliable vendors.

  • Conduct regular surveys of supply market for new products and ingredients to enlarge range of food variety.

  • Coordinate with receiving dock and quality control department on condition of goods received with follow-up of appropriate actions.

  • Maintenance of purchasing activities files and conformance to ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP requirements.

 
 

 
Requirements
  •  Min 2 years’ relevant experience in food manufacturing.
  • Resourceful with excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

  • Proven track record in negotiation and supplier development.

  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Working knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
